Hajj Pilgrims Asked to Maintain the Good Name of Jakarta

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, welcomed and gave a speech to 450 haj pilgrims from Jakarta in Haj Dormitory, Pondok Gede, East Jakarta, Friday (8/28). Those hajj pilgrims will be departed tomorrow, Saturday (8/29).

We hope they could bring the good name of Jakarta and Indonesia

Djarot hopes, all of them will always maintain the good name of Jakarta and Indonesia once they arrive in the Holy Land.

"We hope they could bring the good name of Jakarta and Indonesia, when they meet with haj candidate from other provinces or countries," said Djarot, to Beritajakarta.com, Friday (8/28).

Djarot Appealed Haj Pilgrims to Increase Nutrition

He expressed that health aspect should be paid attention during in the Holy Land. "Health is number one. Moreover, brain health, due to exhausting, stressful, makes someone has bad temper, so please maintain it," he expressed.

Besides inquiry committee, at least there are 5 staffs who will accompany the pilgrims. They consist of one Indonesia Hajj Guide Teams (TPHI), one Indonesia Hajj Pilgrimage Guide Team (TPIHI) and three medical staff consisting one doctor and 2 paramedics.

He also appealed to the pilgrims do not hesitate to tell difficulties or obstacle they face during on pilgrimage.

"We provide inquiry committee to guide, guard and maintain their health thus they could do haj well. I pray to God for giving you smoothness and health until get back to homeland with predicate of successful haj," he disclosed.
